Description

Stitching the Scriptures is a unique 5 semester program for our girls who have been in the Juliette club and have gained experience. The next segment in the program is the fall portion of a spring/fall combination of classes to sew and design 24 garments for a Christmas Advent Calendar for Christmas of 2026. Each garment depicts a different Scripture verse that uses the word “garment”. This advent calendar tells the story of God the Father sending Jesus to Earth, His parables and life events, especially the Passion week ending with Him dying on the cross and rising from the dead. Because this is such a huge undertaking it will require two semesters to complete the project. We will stop each week for tea/snack break and listen to the original Orchard Kingdom advent story with Orchard Kingdom characters that the girls will then be reading to their families each day of December 2026 in preparation for celebrating Christmas. This class is by invitation only.
